Tata Communications’ on-net enterprise coverage spans Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America & Caribbean, and the United States & Canada.
The company offers Layer 3 IP VPN, dedicated internet access, and Ethernet private lines to its enterprise customers. Direct connects to Alibaba, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, and VMWare are available as well.
How Tata Distinguishes Itself
The company currently partners with Versa Networks and Cisco Viptela to offer two SD-WAN solutions that suit customers’ technology requirements. IZO SD-WAN Select is offered via partnership with Versa Networks.
Tata is also one of the only carriers to develop their own in-house SD-WAN technology; its IZO SD-WAN Prime leverages this platform. This solution can also employ Cisco Viptela.
What to Know
While both services afford benefits like application aware routing and centralized policy management, IZO SD-WAN Prime is more attuned to customers looking for brownfield implementation, as it is run over traditional Cisco routers.
IZO SD-WAN Select is more of a greenfield deployment, targeted toward customers looking for a white box approach. Both services are also available as a VNF in a cloud environment.
